The town of Eagle’s Crossing was created 411 years ago by a group of trading partners who wanted to live away from the various monarchies that would control them. Most of the olden kingdoms have since changed their methods of rule, but Eagle’s Crossing remains the destination of choice for anyone who wishes to elude the less secluded parts of the world. Nestled against a mountainside that was carved out to form the town’s catacombs, adventurers are now making their way to Eagle’s Crossing in hopes of finding the artifact supposedly hidden within.

thanks for playing the game! I thank you for your persistence and hopefully you managed to get past that door!

Sorry if it's too tough, the map is huge so I do understand :<

if not, I can provide you with hints but not answers please! The tablets could also be an issue with my english.

The idea of this puzzle was to count the number of statues on each side of the map and do some calculations. The image above shows the right side.

So from north to south, top to bottom, top have 4 statues, middle is valued at zero by the broken bust and bottom 5

so the number on the right is 405.

000???

Yup, that worked. But like XxxDemon_hunterXxx, I don't think I would have gotten that ever without the hint. The door code being six digits long makes it look like the answer could potentially be six digits, which obscures the solution. Even if the door code were only three digits (i.e. without the extraneous leading zeroes), I'm not sure it would have been obvious. It didn't occur to me to try counting the statues in groups of hundreds-tens-ones. I wasn't even sure if those were the statues I should be working with since I couldn't even interact with them, meanwhile there were a few "lifelike" statues I could interact with that seemed like they might be important (the only clue they might not matter here was the broken bust tablet).

I'm not sure what you can do to make it more obvious, but I'll be curious how many people get it before they read the hint.

thanks so much for your feedback. I will be sure to work on balancing and more interactions in the future. Hopefully the gameplay wasn't too frustrating.  I thank you all for playing and had a little bit of fun! I will try to post updates on project I have been working on in the near future. When it is up, do check it out if you are interested!
